The BMW 1 Series M Coupe fights against the Porsche Cayman R

Apparently the BMW 1 Series M Coupe and the Porsche Cayman R are two models followed everywhere and compared over and over again, this time by Chris Harris, British EVO Magazine.
If the last time we heard a comparison between the two on public roads, this time the Cayman R and the BMW 1 Series M compete on the race track.
If you are interested in knowing which one is the most expensive, we have to say the Porsche Cayman R with the price around EUR 70,000. The model features a 3.4-liter engine that produces 330 horsepower and that can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in only 4.9 seconds and it's able to reach a top speed of 280 km/h. Bad news for the BMW 1 Series M as the carmaker limited it to 155 mph.
The good news comes from the price. The BMW costs only EUR 50,000 so that's EUR 20,000 less than the Cayman R. The model features a 3.0-liter engine that can deliver 335 horsepower, more than the Porsche. The acceleration time is quite similar so this won't be a reason to have a big gap between them on the track.
