Peugeot announces Guy Wilks as new driver for 2011 IRC season
Double British Rally champion Guy Wilks will be driving the Peugeot UK 207 S20000 in next year’s IRC Rally Championship, starting with the legendary Monte Carlo Rally in January 2011. Joining him on the Peugeot UK team will be Phil Pugh, his co-driver since 2003.
Guy started rallying at 19 and became British Rally Champion in 2007 and 2008. He says ‘We are very excited to be joining Peugeot UK for the 2011 IRC. We’re highly motivated for 2011 and can’t wait for the Monte’ (Monte Carlo Rally).
