What we have here is our best look yet at the convertible destined to replace the Audi A4 Cabrio. It's the A5 Convertible, but spy photographers have managed to do one better and snap the S5 version at what appears to be a photoshoot. Without any camouflage, the new S5 Convertible clearly exhibits all of the S5 Coupe's exterior accoutrement like a chiseled front fascia and larger wheels, and we assume it will also carry the coupe's powerful 354-hp V8. Sporting a cloth tap in lieu of a more expensive and heavy folding hard top, the A5/S5 Convertible is expect to take over Audi's drop top duties when it arrives in the very near future, either at the
LA Auto Show next month or
Detroit Auto Show in January.
