The
Volkswagen Golf is one of Europe's preeminent vehicles. It's regularly one of the top sellers, and the latest, seventh generation appears to be one of the best ever.
It was even named the 2013 World Car of the Year. So how do you sell a car that everyone knows about
with over 30 million built? Well, humor, of course.
In a new video
VW has teamed up with
Auto Express to show how a Golf is made. But instead of taking us through the same antiseptic auto factory, it's recreating all of the steps with a person. The host dresses up in some overalls and goes through the hatchback's complete body production process. It's a clever and unique way to sell a product that everyone already has an idea about.
