Prince Charles's eco-village: EV paradise

Prince Charles knows about sustainable development. The British noble is planning to build a 700-home eco-village in the next 15 years called Knockroon, where each household will have an EV charger.

The new homeowners will not only be able to recharge their car without having to pay for costly infrastructure, but also be automatically signed up to a diesel or hybrid car sharing program.
Located about 64 km outside Glasgow and 114 km from Edinburgh, the village will offer homes from £171,000 in a 100% eco-friendly village (both in terms of buildings and layout) built in the traditional architectural style of the Ayrshire region.

A laudable 21st century initiative that recognizes the importance of preserving the environment and may well inspire real estate developers around the world.
