2012 Fiat 500 Cabrio

Fiat released a few details and images of the USA version of the 2012 Fiat 500 Cabrio, or 500C how it is called in Europe. Fiat's open-top 500 Cabrio promises to bring Italian styling, efficient design and new technology to the American market. Don't expect the new 500 Cabrio to come with the same canvas roof as the original version. The 2012 500 Cabrio features a premium dual-layer power-operated cloth top that makes the car useable all year round. Or at least that's what Fiat says.

The soft-top of Fiat's 2012 500 Cabrio can be retracted at a push of a button, while driving at speeds of up to 60 mph. The top is folded into the rear spoiler.
Fiat offers quite a wide range of personalization options for their new 500 Cabrio. These include 14 different exterior colors, 3 colors for the canvas roof, and 12 combinations for the interior.

Fiat did not yet announce the price list for the 2012 500 Cabrio, nor its engine and gearbox options.
