Tesla is doing everything it can to attract the attention towards its models. The one that is currently in the center of attention is the electric Model S sedan. In the pictures from the gallery it's easy to recognize the new style of the coupe, the different front bumper and a few new body panels.
The price for a Tesla Model S will start at $49,000 and depending on the trim level it could go up to $60,000. The model will feature a QuickCharge mode that in only 45 minutes will charge the battery. This option is available for the 110V, 220V and also for 440V outlets. This is not all. The car will have a 17-inch infotainment touchscreen and of course the 3G wireless connectivity is a must in a new car like this one.
This innovative vehicle will be the one making the other carmakers think twice before launching a model. Tesla with its new technology will raise the standards in the auto world. The engineers say that on only one charge the Model S will be able to travel up to 300 miles.
The company is developing now a new model and it's working on the concept and the rest of the activities necessary to release the Model X around 2013. The Model S will be on the market most probably by the end of this year.
