New SEAT Ibiza Ecomotive Models For SEAT Young Drivers

SEAT Young Driver which provides driving lessons for 11 - 16 year olds, has just received a brand new fleet of SEAT Ibiza Ecomotives.
The SEAT Ibiza Ecomotive features common-rail TDI engine, Start/Stop system and brake Energy Recovery System and CO2 emissions of 92g/km.
SEAT Young Driver opened in October 2009 at the NEC in Birmingham and at venues throughout the UK including London, Bristol, Sheffield, Bluewater, Glasgow and Newcastle, has provided 20,000 lessons . The eighth Young Driver venues opens in June, in Southampton.
Steve Robertson, Head of Marketing for SEAT UK, said of Young Driver: "Responsible parents are interested in the safety of their youngsters on the road and young people in particular are very aware of environmental concerns. The Ibiza Ecomotive is a great opportunity for SEAT Young Driver to demonstrate the cars of the future to tomorrow's motorists."
Kim Stanton, spokesperson for SEAT Young Driver, said: "Research from Sweden shows that accidents are reduced by 40% through providing under 17s with driver training. With one in five UK youngsters crashing within six months of passing their test, we set out to establish the first nationwide network of sites to offer driving experience to those from 11 to 16. These new SEAT Ibiza Ecomotives enable us to show environmental responsibility as well as teach responsible road use."
Throughout May 2011, SEAT Young Driver has reduced the prices of both the 30 minute and 60 minute lessons by ten per cent, with a 30 minute lesson now costing £27.
