Peugeot EX1 Nurburgring Record Lap Video

Recently, the Peugeot EX1 managed to become the fastest electric car around the Nurburgring race track, with a record lap time of 9 minutes and 1 second. The French car manufacturer finally released a video to prove their claim, which is almost an entire minute faster than the previous lap record.



Peugeot premiered the EX1 electric concept at the Paris auto show back in September last year. The EX1 managed to grab the attention through its unconventional four-wheel system and its extreme, futuristic exterior styling (we bet Darth Vader drives one of those things).



The power of the EX1 comes from two electric motors, with a total output of 340 bhp and 240 Nm
of torque. With a lot more power than most electric cars, the Peugeot EX1 was also built for taking corners. According to its manufacturer, it's able to pull up to 1G during cornering.
