If you carry too much speed into the corner in most racing cars, you're liable to spin out. But then most racing cars have a low center of gravity and a suitably long wheelbase. Suppose, then, that you're driving something a little stouter, like a race-tuned
Fiat 500 in the Trofeo Abarth.
One driver found out the hard way while racing at England's Oulton Park. More impressive, though, is that he didn't wipe out, but managed to recover control from one of the closest calls we've seen in a long time.
