Lamborghini Teases New Murcielago Replacement

If that doesn’t sound like a teaser for the new Lamborghini “Jota” – the replacement for the long-running Murcielago supercar – I don’t know what does. Lamborghini just released this teaser image of the new car, and says there are five more images on the way before the 2010 Paris Motor Show next month

We spotted Lamborghini testing the new car earlier this year, but the spy shots asked more questions than they answered

Of course it’s all speculation, but we expect the Murcielago replacement to get an all-new V12 engine dropped into the rear, sport a revised AWD drivetrain, and actually be smaller and lighter than the current Murcielago by using a new carbon fiber tub and lighter components all-around
