Help - Importing Cars to Egypt

Hello Everyone,
I heard your forum is very good and I have some questions:
I am German and want to import cars to Egypt for commercial purpose.
1. Can I open a business in Egypt without having an Egyptian manager?
2. Can I import used cars (second hand cars)?
3. According to importing new cars, what are the taxes I'll need to pay if I bring them from Germany?
4. What approvals do I need to get before opening the Business? and how do I get them?

You can answer in Arabic and I will use translator.

Hi,
First of all thank you for your detailed answer. I'm sorry I didn't explain myself well enough - I am intending to move to Egypt in the coming months (already got all the paper), and I want to open a store that sales used cars + new cars. So my questions are these:
1. Does the business must have an Egyptian employee or we can be all German? I mean I can open a business in Egypt without having an Egyptian employee?
2. What are the regulations for used and new cars that are being imported for sale purpose? (are the taxes different than importing car for private use?)
3. I heard that you can't import used cars to Egypt for commercial purpose, is that right?
4. What approvals do I need to get before opening the Business? and how do I get them? like from the government.

dear tommy frist i would like to say you are welcome to egypt
and i want ato answer about some of your asks
frist the law in egypt prevent importing too used car only parablegic use and that have spesific rules t i woill tell you later
the car should not be older than 2 years
and you have to pay customs for the car will enter egypt
finally you cant make your own bisiness in egypt with out local partner
the best for you to hawve locar partner that will comunicate with the government
