Bruce Meyers, the man who invented the Meyers Manx, which you may more readily recognize as the
dune buggy. Based upon the humble underpinnings of the long-running, air-cooled
Volkswagen Beetle, the Manx offers beauty in the form of simplicity. Its tub-like fiberglass shell sits on a rolling chassis that houses trailing-link suspension that allows it to travel on smooth roads, rough roads and no roads, and it stands as an icon of the Swingin' 60s, as does its creator.
