It could be fine to explain him how the things are going on between CKD and
CBU and that 0% of customs taxes does not mean 0% of tax...
Nevertheless it's a good point that underline that maybe some people are not
aware of the different taxes in the country, and think that a decrease of
customs tax (like European production) always means a decrease of customer
price.
This is not the case!!! esp. in those days with the cost of transport which
is increasing a lot (due to petrol), the cost of raw material also...

Dear sirs,
My name is Gehad Morad am an Electric Engineer from Egypt, am wondering
if made a mistake when i thought that global Renault monitoring it's
branches all over the world especially in the third world countries.
Am taking about your car Renault Logan which it is my dream to be the first
car i own in my life but for the last 2 years since it been in the market i
refused to buy it because of the corruption between Renault Egypt and other
trade names of cars to fix the price at certain limit in spite of the Agadir
Agreement between Egypt and Morocco which make the price of the car supposed
to be with 50,000L.E (8,500 USD) but they fixed the price at 70,000L.E
(12000 USD) to be with the same value with Chevrolet Lanos and Hyundai Verna
although both of the last mentioned cars are not in the agreement they are
manufactured here in Egypt.
I just wanted to tell you a truth about how businesses are flow in Egypt but
thank God we the Egyptians make the revolution, i hope Renault with it's
brand name make a revolution also to prove that it deserve the trust it have
all over the world.
I hope to hear from Renault about the complain and am sure i will buy
Renault after all.
