4G18s the chinese version of Lancer's 4G18 , higher specs, made by Dongan Automotive Engines, DAE, a factory which licensed mitsubishi teq to produce engines and ship it to mitsubishi which owns about 15% of it
same engine used in BYD, they produce 300,000 engines a year !!!!
same engine was used by proton in older models like waja and was preceded by the campro which has a drop in torque between 2000 and 3000 rpm where as the 4G18 is nearly flat
