Suzuki Egypt will pump LE200 million of fresh investments by early 2008 to
finance expansions in the company's plant in the Sixth of October City. A
senior official at the company said the move would finance the first phase
of
Suzuki Egypt 's initiative to set up new production lines and upgrade the
existing ones. "The company is seeking to boost its plant capacity and
offer new models of locally-assembled vehicles in the Egyptian market.
The second and third phases of this initiative will begin in 2008 and 2010
respectively.
