افتراضي ADAC Breakdown Statistics: Opel Meriva Best Minivan

Rüsselsheim. In the recently published ADAC (German Automobile Club) breakdown statistics for 2010, all four Opel models listed achieved above-average results, with the Opel Meriva leading the way. The flexibility champion for the registration years 2005 to 2010 takes top marks in almost every year, and is recognized as having “substantially fewer breakdowns than the average” (2008: second best). This makes the Meriva, described by TÜV Deutschland (German Technical Inspection Agency) in 2007 as the “defects dwarf”, the best minivan and number four in the “small car” category of ADAC’s latest breakdown statistics.

The Opel Corsa in the registration years 2009 and 2010 was better than average and also received the best ADAC rating (2006 to 2008: second-best grade). It was already distinguished in the DEKRA Defects Report 2010, where it was the overall winner with the lowest rate of defects of all vehicles tested. The best evaluation grade in the breakdown statistics was also achieved by the Opel Astra and the compact van Opel Zafira for the registration years 2009 and 2010.

The ADAC has been publishing its breakdown statistics since 1978. 500,000 of the more than 4.25 million breakdowns to which ADAC was called in 2010 were evaluated to compile the rankings. The statistics cover the vehicle models of the last six registration years which achieved 10,000 new registrations in at least one of these years and at least 5,000 in the other years. A model range has to fulfill these conditions in at least three successive registration years.
