Skoda as a car manufacturer started years ago to use modern technological systems in cars, specially those made by VW group.
For example if you compare Ocatvia with Jetta, you will find both of them are identical except their exterior shape and design.
Superb can be compared with VW Passat, more or less some minor changes like car length,
I think also the new car Yeti is also similar to one of VW 4 wheels car like Tiguan, or something else.
But any how, the are using the successful formula : Strong convenient motor, modern technology options inside the car, modern safety measures inside each car.
I consider Skoda not a new car make manufacturer but another smart intelligent distributor for VW.
