Just last month we announced that Aston Martin’s incredible V12 Vantage is finally coming to the States, and today we get an email with pricing and details

The V12 Vantage, which I’ve been swooning over since it was announced for Europe, sports the same 510 hp, 6.0-liter V12 engine in the upscale DBS, which is capable of propelling the Vantage from zero to 60 mph in only 4.1 seconds, up to a top speed of 190 mph. My favorite part about the V12 Vantage is that it’s only available in a 6-speed manual transmission – no wussy automatic paddle-shifting system here. Despite the bigger engine though, the V12 Vantage only weighs 110 lbs more than the V8 version, thanks to some lightweight parts and weight shedding techniques

If you’re up for exclusivity, the new Vantage will also be available in a special “Carbon Black” edition, which features special Carbon Metallic paint, carbon fiber accents, and 10-spoke alloy wheels on the exterior, while inside the car gets obsidian black leather with contrasting silver stitching, piano black trim, unique sill plates, and a standard upscale 700W audio system

The Stateside Aston Martin V12 Vantage will start at $179.995 – about the same price as a current DB9. Upgrade to the limited Carbon Black Special Edition and the price jumps to $194,995. Contact your local Aston Martin dealer now – they’re taking orders
