Lamborghini Aventador spied... on Facebook?

'Tis the dawn of a new digital age, friends. A new spy shot of what is very <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2010/11/15/lamborghini-registers-aventador-name-for-trademark/">likely to be called</a> the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2010/11/18/videos-lamborghini-highlights-new-v12-with-a-quartet-of-clips/">Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4</a> has been spotted on the world's most ubiquitous social networking site: Facebook. It seems the pic was snapped and uploaded to the web by a member of the <a href="http://autoblog.com/make/lamborghini">Lamborghini</a> Club of Los Angeles.<br />

Although mostly obscured by what looks to be some sort of electrical tape (or vinyl wrap, or something...), we still get a clear look at the basic wedge-like shape of Lambo's next supercar. The family resemblance to the Miura, Countach, Diablo and <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/model/murcielago">Murcielago </a>is clear, with more than a little <a href="http://autoblog.com/tag/reventon">Reventon</a>-esque flair thrown in for good measure. Not a bad history to draw from, eh?<br />

With its new <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2010/11/15/lamborghini-reveals-all-new-6-5l-v12-engine-and-isr-gearbox/">clean-sheet 6.5-liter V12</a> expected to punch out 700 horsepower and 509 pound-feet of torque, the Aventador ought to have plenty of brawn to match the racy looks of its carbon fiber shell. We look forward to finding out for sure...<br />
