<div style="text-align: center;"><em><strong><sma ll>Mystery prototype - Click above for high-res image gallery</small></strong></em></div> <br /> <img width="284" vspace="4" hspace="4" height="197" border="0" align="right" alt="" src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2010/06/p1010006-copy.jpg" />One of our alert readers was driving down Woodward Avenue in suburban Detroit when he spotted a prototype and quickly snapped off a few photos. That's where the mystery starts. We're honestly not sure what this sedan is. <br /> <br /> Being in Michigan, it almost certainly belongs to either the Detroit three, Toyota, <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/make/nissan/">Nissan</a> or Hyundai, all of whom have technical centers in the area. From the front view, an elliptical badge area is visible which points to <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/make/ford/">Ford</a>, <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/make/toyota/">Toyota</a> or <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/make/hyundai/">Hyundai</a>. Judging by its footprint, it's clearly a mid-size to large car and the shape of the mirrors is consistent with the new Sonata. <br /> <br /> So based on these few clues, we're going to climb out on the proverbial limb and predict that this is most likely either a next generation <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/tag/azera">Hyundai Azera</a> or even the new <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/tag/camry">Camry</a>. Posit your own guesses below?<br /> <br /> <br /> <div class="postgallery"><p><s trong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/spy-shots-mystery-sedan-in-detroit/">Spy Shots: Mystery sedan in Detroit</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/spy-shots-mystery-sedan-in-detroit/#3114914"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2010/06/p1010005_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/spy-shots-mystery-sedan-in-detroit/#3114915"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2010/06/p1010004_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/spy-shots-mystery-sedan-in-detroit/#3114916"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2010/06/p1010006_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><br /> [Source: Domino Vitali]<p style="padding:5px;backgr ound:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2010/06/24/spy-shots-its-the-all-new-201x-something/">Spy Shots: It's the all new 201x ... something?</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblo g</a> on Thu, 24 Jun 2010 19:01:00 EST.
