من السيارات الكاملة الحجم التي يصنعها قسم شيفروليه التابع لشركة جنرال موتورز الامريكية وتستمد هذه السيارة اسمها من الضباء (الغزلان) الافريقية

واصبحت هذه السيارة الاكثر مبيعاً ومنافساً قوياً لسيارة فورد
وتصدرت امبالا قائمة السيارات الاكثر شعبية بين عام1980 الى 1994 وقد استمر تطوير السيارة الى كابريس كلاسك واستمر التطوير الى ماوصلت اليه الان

الجيل العاشر من امبالا

إمبالا هي سيارة شفرولية الجديدة السيدان ذات الصالون الكبير التي صممت لتنافس توروس فورد وتويوتا أفالون مباشرةً، وهي سيارة جر أمامي بمحرك 3.6 لتر ينتج عنه قدرة 305 حصان، وتنطلق السيارة من صفر إلى 100 كيلو متر في 6.2 ثانية، مع سرعة قصوى تصل إلى 240 كيلومتر.

وفي هذه السيارة، تؤكد شيفرولية على التصميم والتحمل والقدرة والمتانة وكل هذا بأسعار معقولة، حيث جاءت بقدرة محرك أكبر من السيارة توريس (3.5) وكذلك السيارة افالون (3.5) بقدرات (288 حصان و270 حصان) على التوالي، وسعر السيارة في حدود 105,000 ريال سعودي.

في حين أن السيارة توريس تحتاج إلى 10,998 ريال سعودي والسيارة أفالون 13,900 ريال سعودي.

The ECOTEC® 2.5L engine is part of a family of new, modern 4-cylinder engines engineered for efficiency, spirited response and refined operation. It features the intake Variable Valve Lift (iVVL) technology which allows the lift, duration and timing of the valves to change over a wide range of engine operation. For example, during low-lift mode, the engine pumps out just enough air to meet the driver's needs. When the engine is operating at highway speeds, or under heavy load, the high-lift mode provides additional air to allow the engine to reach its full capability.

VVT works by optimizing combustion as well as enhancing low-end torque and high-end power while controlling emissions
