The first rumblings of potential trouble at Fiat came when its CEO Sergio Marchionne suggested his company's future looked bleak without a major partner and that there was only room for six global automakers in his estimation. Now, according to Italian newspaper <em>Milano Finanza</em>, leaders of both Italy and France have discussed a possible tie-up between the two companies. <br /><br />Both countries are said to be considering offering financial aid packages to their respective home-grown automakers, and a merger may be seen as another way of ensuring their future viability. Although the two automakers specialize in small cars and therefore have many overlapping products, the only joint-ventures currently shared between them are for commercial vehicles and MPVs. مين اللي قال ان فيات هتخسر

فيات هتستفاد من حاجتين على الاقل

1- تقنيه الدفع الرباعي بتاع ميتسوبيشي

2- شاسيه التريو ايجو - سي 1 - 107 ممكن ياخد عربيه او اكيد هياخد عربيه من فيات كمان

التريو باعوا مليون سياره في سنتين

فيات تقنيا أعلى قليلا من الشركات الفرنسية,
فيات عندها تجارب فى موضوع الدفع الرباعى, خاصة من خلال الفاروميو و هناك فئة خاصة تنتج من ال159 مزودة بتقنية الدفع الرباعى, و نظام الدفع الرباعى الخاص الذى كان يسمى "كيو 4" زودت به بعض سيارات ال156 و قبل ذلك حتى, لكن فيات و فيرارى يعتقدون أن الدفع الخلفى افضل نظرا لعيوب الدفع الرباعى الكثيرة, منها ثقل الوزن الذى يصعب معه السيطرة على السيارة فى المنحنيات, و اعتقد ان فيات و فيرارى محقين فى هذا الأمر كثيرا.
هذا لا يمنع ان الاندماج سوف يفيد فيات كثيرا من ناحية التسويق و حجم الأعمال, بالاضافة الى خبرة بيجو و سيتروين لناحية الثبات و الراحة على الطريق و الديناميكية, بينما سوف تستفيد الشركات الفرنسية من قوة محركات فيات المعروفة و مرونتها.
فيات اشتهرت بالمحركات العصبية و المرنة و السيارات رياضية الطابع, كذلك هى معروفة بأنها أفضل من تصنع محركات التربو ديزل, بينما اشتهرت سيتروين بالايروديناميكية و الراحة و الثبات, و بيجو بالراحة و الاعتمادية, كما أن لبيجو خبرة معقولة فى صناعة السيارات الكبيرة, لذا فان تبادل الخبرات بينهم سوف يصنع عملاقا لا يقهر, و اعتقد انه مع وجود فيات سوف تتخلى بيجو و سيتروين تماما عن التعاون مع شركات من عينة تويوتا و ميتسوبيشى لتخفيض النفقات.

فيات مش بتستفيد من مشروعات الشراكه دي دايما و غالبا بتخسر
زي ما حصل مع جنرال موتورز قبل كده و سوزوكي
