ان كنت متوقع علي أسوأ سيناريو ان يحصل زي نهاية التسعينات ايام الازمة الاسيوية

لما رينو شالت نيسان ، و جي ام شالت دايوو و هيونداي شالت كيا

و الدنيا مشيت و خلاص

علي كلامك كده مش هيلاقوا حد يشيل اساسا لان كله بيعاني

عموما اجابتك علي الاخ اللي بيسال علي موقف جي ام الكورية

ممكن الحكومة الالمانية تساند اوبل ( اوبل دي بلد كاملة في المانيا ) و الحكومة الكورية تساند دايوو - ،،،،، الخ

و الحكومة الامريكية تساند الفروع الامريكية

اصل مش معقول الدول دي كلها تسيب الشركات تدي تقع

زي الخبر ده اوبل تطلب اعانة عاجلة من الحكومة الالمانية

وصلنا للمراحل الاخيره خلاص

تقريبا شبه المأكد ان تغلق تماما الى ابد الابدين 3 ماركات

ساب التي ماتت بالفعل منذ زمن و كانت النسخه الاوروبيه من سوبارو الى ان باعت جنرال موتورز سوبارو الى تويوتا فأصبحت ساب شركه بلا هويه

ساتورن نفس سيناريو ساب و لكن اصبحت اوبل في امريكا الشماليه و حتى بنفس الاسم فكان يجب ان تلغى منذ فتره يذكر ان جي ام فتحت ساتورن لتكون سيارات صديقه للبيئه

بونتياك نفس النظام و لكن مع شركه هولدن الاستراليه و كانت يجب ان تلغى هي الاخرى لانها ماتت منذ فتره كبيره جداً

و طبعا هامر غنيه عن التعريف لان المفروض كانت تقفلها او تبعها من زمان و الحمد لله انهم قفلوها

Despite previous assurances made earlier this month by its CEO Rick Wagoner, General Motors is reportedly considering dropping the Saab, Saturn and Pontiac brands in order to improve its chances of garnering a federal government aid package.

GM is currently readying a turnaround plan to present to Congress on the 5th of December, and according to Bloomberg this proposal will hold the answer as to whether or not the carmaker will end up either dropping or selling the Saab, Pontiac and Saturn brands. The information comes from "people familiar with the matter", who wished to remain unidentified as no real decision had been made yet.

While the viability proposal is scheduled to be presented to Congress on December 5th, GM's higher-ups will review the plans on November 30th and December 1st, and a 10 to 12 page document for the public will be made available before the December 5th deadline, followed by a much more detailed 80-page document for Congress to review.

Currently, GM has a number of dealerships that sell Pontiac, Buick and GMC brands all in one location. Dropping Pontiac would adversely affect these dealers, which may be why GM's CEO has been making assurances that the company will not be dropping any more brands.

However, dumping the brands will help GM reduce costs drastically as it struggles to stay afloat. Whether or not its plans have changed in order to woo the federal government into providing loans, the move would make economic sense for GM, which currently has many overlapping models and high associated costs with these struggling brands. More news on this should be available closer to the 5th of December meeting in Washington.

Hummer has been up for sale since June, and we wouldn’t be surprised to see GM sell it for less than it’s worth in order to quickly raise cash.

But the possible sale or closure of Saab, Saturn, and Pontiac could come as a shock to many in the industry. Saab would almost certainly be sold off, while Saturn or Pontiac are more likely be shuttered.

The demise of Pontiac would be particularly unfortunate, considering the brand’s storied history over 82 years. Saturn, on the other hand, has only been making cars for 18 years, so its closure would come more naturally. Whether popular vehicles like the Pontiac G6 and Saturn Sky would be rebranded as Chevrolet models remains to be seen. A recent report indicates plans for a next-generation Pontiac G8 and Solstice were recently shelved.

We’re surprised to hear GM isn’t considering shedding Buick, which in many ways overlaps with Cadillac. Moreover, some observers have suggested GM could sell Buick to China’s SAIC — a possible win-win for everyone involved. That said, it doesn’t look like this option is currently on the table.

GM’s board of directors will review the finished proposal November 30th, and it will be submitted to Congress on December 2nd. Hearings on Capitol Hill will resume December 5th, and a vote could come as soon as December 8th.

هامر مكروهه جدا في امريكا دلوقتي بالذات من لما ذات الوعي بالبيئه و تحول الى هوس و كده

مما حدا مثلا بحاكم كاليفورنيا ارنولد شوارزنجر

الذي كان في يوم من الايام من المسوقين لها ان يعترف انه هجرها فالجراج و لم يركبها

و اصبح يمقتها

هو ممكن يكون و لا ركنها و الصور اللي صورها ليها و هي متربه حقيقيه

بس ده يظهر مدى حجم المهتمين او المهوسيين بالبيئه في كاليفورنيا

يأما مكنش الموضوع ده اتفتح فالانتخابات
