Zipcar will provide membership to its carsharing service to Southwest Airlines and AirTran employees. The nearly 45,000 airline employees will also enjoy reduced driving rates. The idea is to allow flight crews more mobility when their work takes them to cities away from home. It also allows Zipcar to expand its membership base around the world. "The ease of use and availability of cars at our crew hotels and cities across the nation means more flexibility for our employees while they are traveling throughout the Southwest Airlines system," says Southwest's Dave Ridley. Zipcar reservations include gas, insurance and 180 miles of driving per day. Read more in the press release,
