In the Vauxhall "mansion" there is a lot of activity. Astra GTC will get a Vauxhall badge transplant and this is not all. The carmaker will take the GTC to the Goodwood Festival of Speed so that everyone will have the opportunity to see it this year. The event will take place in July.
The schedule of the event indicates that between the 1st of July and the 3rd of July the GTC will travel the Festival's hillclimb track up to twice a day. So the engineers say that Vauxhall will have a very busy weekend.
The model has a revised chassis and the company claims to be the first successor of Vauxhall three-door coupes and this includes the Astra GTE, the Firenza and the Chevette 2300HS. When the GTC won't be on the track, competing will be on present in the Cathedral Paddock.
At the same show, the spectators will have the opportunity to see the first Extended-Range Electric Vehicle that will go on sale in the UK. Also the Ampera E-REV will make a drive demonstration on the hill. The last surprise will come from GM who will present its EN-V at the Festival.
