Anonymous buyer orders ten Aston Martin One-77s
An anonymous jerk with too much money placed an order for ten Aston Martin One-77 supercars at a total of $17.7 Million. The Times Online reports that this order accounts for 13 percent of Aston Martin’s total production run of 77 cars and that the buyer is “believed to be of Middle Eastern origin.” Each of the ten cars was ordered in a different color combination, one for each of the ten days of the week . . . yeah
A 7.3 liter V12 producing around 700hp motivates the One-77, which officially goes on sale later in the year. Aston Martin says 65 of the 77 cars to be produced are already accounted for. James Bond might be screwed out of his proper new ride if MI-6 doesn’t place an order soon
