This is a general comparison between a sedan and a hatchback for the same model
Vehicle Dynamics- Sedans due to the body architecture are inherently stiffer in construction. This leads to better overall vehicle dynamics such as NVH and handling. The wight difference also needs to be looked at.
Aerodynamics- Sedans again are superior due to the rear truck/boot. With a added spoiler they can have a better continuity of the laminar airflow. This also helps in creating better traction. Hatchbacks will have high turbulance at the rear gate. This leads to dirt on hte rear windshield and hence the need for wipers
Looks- This offcourse is subjective. I think this depends on what was the original model and if the car maker decided to modify it for another achitecture. Some car companies develop both styles simultaneously and this might make both look okay. However if they change the style as an afterthought, results can be a bit ugly.
Functionality- Here the hatchback with liftgate and folding rear seats win hands down. Also the better rear visibility helps.

افضل فى الرؤية (للخلف).
السيدان افضل من ناحية الاتساع (لكن السيارات الحديثة كلها يمكن طى المقاعد الخلفية فيها لتوسيع مساحة التخزين )
افضل فى الامان (للتصادم من الخلف ) لكن مع معايير الامان الحديثة الفرق مبقاش كبير
اعتقد ان ديه بعض الاسباب لكن اكيد الذوق العام للاوروبيين اميل لشكل الهاتش باك زى ماهو عندنا بالعكس
