Porsche Unveils New Hybrid Racer In Detroit
 

Porsche kicked off the Detroit Auto Show with an early morning unveiling of its latest creation, a mid-engine, all-wheel drive, hybrid race car with more than 760 horsepower. The car is a natural combination of the two cars the German car maker unveiled last year, the successful 911 GT3 R hybrid race car, and the sleek 918 Spyder hybrid.

Volvo takes safety very seriously, and if it’s going to start building cars with cords it wants consumers to know the technology is every bit as safe as a conventional car.
